Fall Ball Overview: The fall ball season typically runs from early September through the end of October and takes place
mostly on the weekends, with occasional weeknight games. It is more relaxed than the regular
season and provides an excellent opportunity for players to build skills and learn more about
baseball in a less competitive environment. It helps players prepare for the next spring season and
have fun. We do not track wins or losses and no trophies are awarded. That said, not all of the
teams in the other leagues have this philosophy so there will still be a healthy amount of competition.

The number of games played each week will be determined by how many teams sign up, and the
location of games will be determined by which fields are available to us, as traditional fall sports like
soccer take field priority (in fact, many players play other sports in addition to fall ball). Fall ball
games are played against teams in other little leagues throughout the area, and game locations may
take place anywhere in the Southwest/Beaverton/Tigard/Wilsonville/Lake Oswego area.

Age Determination: Age determination is based on what age the player will be for next spring’s
season (in other words, for Fall ball 2025 a player's age is the age he or she would be in the spring
2026 season). Please view the chart here to determine league age, then add 1 since this chart is for
2025. Fall Ball opportunities are based upon the availability of volunteers and fields. Thus, for Fall 2025 we will only be offering AAA/Minors and Majors teams, both of which are player-pitch. Fall ball players must be ready to play AAA or Majors in the Spring, which will be much too advanced for players younger than 9 years old who not played a season of coach pitch.

Practices: Fall ball teams typically have few or infrequent practice due to limited fields being
available from the city due to other fall sports. We will continuously try to obtain practice fields but
practices will be optional.

Team Selection: The fall ball coordinators will create teams taking into consideration player age, skill
level, and prior experience. The goal is to build teams that are similar in skill and
experience.

Fees: Fees are $130 for 2025. Registration fee includes jersey. Please continue using hats from last
season. Players who need a new hat may purchase one during registration for $18. Financial aid is available. Please email [email protected] for more information.
