Southwest Portland Little League is spread out over a large geographic area. we are fortunate to have the privilege of using the Alpenrose Dairy facility, 6149 SW Shattuck Rd, Portland, OR  97221-1044, to play games on a regular basis. Alpenrose is gracious in their support of Little League and always keep their fields in excellent condition.

In addition to Alpenrose, we play at many area elementary schools. Our primary fields are located on the campus of Markham Elementary School, 10531 SW Capitol Highway.

Many games are also played at facilities associated with the Southwest Community Center. Hitchen Field is located just off the primary parking area at 6820 SW 45th Ave. (corner of SW 45th and Vermont).

Little Gabriel is located in the southeast corner of Gabriel Park. The field must be accessed off of SW Multnomah Blvd. Turn north on SW 40th and then west (left) on Canby street. Parking is limited and must be shared with the off-leash dog area and community garden.

Other ancillary fields for practice and occassional games can be found by using the links to the left. If you don't see a field listed, it is probably the home field of another league that we play during one of the interlock sessions. Maps and directions should be available on those league's web sites. Visit the Oregon District 4 web site for a directory of the other leagues or you can try using the Interlock links located in the left index.

The strength of this program relies on all families to support our Little League community. Please keep an ear to the ground for requests to help with field maintenance throughout the season. It is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of SWPLL and the enjoyment of all the youth playing in the league.

Teams are expected to use the field maintenance guidelines (see maintenance index links for details) for games and practices. Managers and coaches can't do this and instruct the kids too. Please be supportive if you are asked to pitch in. Even better if you volunteer to take this responsability for a few games during the season. And if you notice that supplies are running low, please notify the Field Steward or Field Maintenance Coordinator.
