Southwest Portland Little League

Thank you all for coming out to our Little League Day at Alpenrose this past Sunday. It was a great day of softball, baseball & friendly competition

 

The day started with skills competition with our Majors & AAA teams where just about every participant earned a medal. On the main field the A & AA softball teams enjoyed 3 hours of exhibition play where each player was given the opportunity to bat twice. After rotating off the field teams participated in the skills contests where competition was stiff…especially at the AA level. Medals were anxiously awaited and proudly worn

The beautiful day was scheduled and orchestrated right down to the exceptional weather by our Alpenrose Coordinators Teri Price & Aimee Polzin. These two talented moms dedicated endless hours scheduling, gathering, shopping, organizing calling, emailing & coordinating the day’s activities. Hats off and many thanks to them….Great Job!
